Pioneer Field Agronomist Kristie Sundeen says her territory in northeastern North Dakota has been fortunate compared with other parts of the state. “I would say that my area has probably received the nicest, most timely rains throughout the whole season,” Sundeen said. “I don’t think we’ll have any bin busters by any shape or imagination, but we’re not gonna have any huge failures either.” The corn received plenty of growing degree units and most appear to be in good shape to reach maturity.
