The 2026 North Dakota Leopold Conservation Award will be going to John Lee and Ellen Njos from Bowman County. This prestigious award honors farmers and ranchers for their work in soil health, water management and wildlife habitat on working lands. The Njos family will be presented with the $10,000 award in December.
