The EPA has extended the current waiver, allowing summer E15 sales through the end of this month. The agency also issued a temporary emergency fuel waiver that will increase the availability of ethanol-blended fuels this fall. Beginning September 1, this waiver allows the sale of ten percent ethanol blends with a higher Reid vapor pressure.
