Lone Star Varieties has potato field trials at three locations in North Dakota. Owner and CEO Paige Parish said the potato varieties being tested in the Red River Valley have performed well despite the dryness. “For the last three days we’ve been doing digs and they’ve been reasonably drought-tolerant; they still have a very lively upright vine.”
