Global grain sales are taking a hit as attacks on Russian and Ukrainian ships and infrastructure intensify. In the past five weeks, global grain shipments are down eight percent year-over-year. That’s driven by a 26 percent year-over-year decline in grain exports from the Black Sea Region. Russia and Ukraine are two of the world’s largest exporters of wheat and corn.
