Drought conditions continue to intensify across eastern North Dakota. Arthur-area farmer Kevin Skunes said his farm has gone about eight weeks without meaningful rainfall. “We’ve lost a substantial amount of crop so far, so not looking very good.” He estimates a significant portion of his corn crop has already been lost, while soybean yield potential continues to decline.
