North Dakota State University has officially opened the new Bolley Agricultural Laboratory, a facility designed to strengthen agricultural research and education across the state. University leaders, lawmakers, donors and industry representatives gathered for a ribbon-cutting ceremony marking the completion of the new laboratory. The Bolley Agricultural Laboratory will support research in plant pathology, plant breeding, weed science, agronomy, soil science and horticulture. The building is named in honor of Henry L. Bolley, NDSU’s first tenured faculty member and a pioneering plant pathologist.
