Agriculture Secretary Brooke Rollins used FarmFest to announce a series of listening sessions to gather public input about the accuracy of USDA reports. Minnesota Corn Growers Association member John Mages participated in the roundtable discussion on the modernization of data collection. “She’s talking about how the survey response has been going down,” said Mages. “If they make it an easier system that we could just do it from our phone or our iPad, I think you’d get a better response from farmers.”
