The last farm bill to pass was pre-COVID. “It’s time to get the farm bill done,” said Dan Glessing, president, Minnesota Farm Bureau Federation. “When you look at the conservation title, the rural development title, doubling down on the trade, there’s a lot of good things that need to get done in there.” Glessing praised Farmfest as an opportunity for his members to connect with political leaders about policy priorities.
