This is the first commercial season for the use of Verpixo fungicide in sugarbeets. Corteva Agriscience Technical Field Agronomist Grant Harms said this tool provides a new mode of action to help manage Cercospora. “It is a Group 21 mode of action so it’s new to sugarbeets,” said Harms. “When we’re bringing products to market, we want to bring novel technologies that can overcome some resistance concerns or potential resistance for years to come.”
