Pioneer Field Agronomist Michael Fosdick believes soybean disease identification is becoming increasingly important. “One of the initiatives we’re trying to do as field agronomists with Pioneer is to make sure that when we are out in the fields, if we do see a plant that shows some of that interveinal chlorosis similar to sudden death syndrome, that we don’t take that at face value, right? We want to make sure we send those plants into the lab so we can be on the cutting edge and make sure that if isn’t going the route of red crown rot.”
