Beginning in September, major changes will be made in the spring wheat futures contracts. At this point, wheat can only be delivered to 11 grain elevators near the Twin Cities and Duluth. Beginning in August, 50 shuttle-loading elevators in western Minnesota and North Dakota are being added as delivery points. This decision will move delivery points closer to where spring wheat grows.
