U.S. Custom Harvesters are making the case for its members to receive part of the $12 billion in farm assistance. The USCHI members said farmers often have access to crop insurance or disaster assistance when there are crop losses. However, custom harvesters lose contracted work and revenue with no safety net. They’re asking for $250 million in targeted farm relief.
