Deputy Agriculture Secretary Stephen Vaden released an update on USDA’s reorganization plan on social media Friday. It includes a letter sent to Senate Agriculture Appropriations Committee Chair John Hoeven and Ranking Member Jeanne Shaheen. Union negotiations for many of the USDA agencies begin this week and that could coincide with the next round of restructuring announcements. Vaden still wants to finish his reorganization plan before the end of the year.
