Elbow Lake farmer and agronomist Leah Johnson said the weather has created one of the toughest spray seasons in recent memory. “This has probably been one of the most challenging spray seasons on record.” Johnson said slower crop growth has left soybean canopies open longer, creating more opportunities for waterhemp, ragweed and lambsquarter to emerge.
