President Donald Trump is raising new questions about the future of the U.S.-Mexico-Canada Agreement. Speaking with reporters in Paris, Trump said, “I would rather not have the USMCA,” and suggested the agreement could be allowed to expire if future negotiations with Canada and Mexico do not meet his expectations. The comments come ahead of the scheduled review of the trade pact, which remains critical for U.S. agriculture as Canada and Mexico are among America’s largest export markets.
