An interim peace deal is in place between the United States and Iran. President Donald Trump made the announcement on social media, saying he authorizes the toll-free opening of the Strait of Hormuz. Trump also said the naval blockade will end. A formal signing ceremony is planned for this Friday in Switzerland.
