Roseau County, Minnesota farmer Shane Isane says crops are progressing well after a late start to spring. Warm weather and adequate moisture helped fields catch up quickly. Weeds have been a challenge. “We’ve got a lot of weed pressure out there for some reason this year so as soon as conditions warrant, we’ll be out there spraying crops and monitoring that. The specialty crops, like ryegrass and even our canola, seem like they take a little bit of extra attention.”
