USDA Communications Team Updated

USDA has made additions to its Office of Communications. Michael Abboud is the deputy chief of staff for public affairs. Previously, Abboud served as the associate administrator for EPA’s Office of External Affairs. Harry Fones is the new senior advisor for communications. Before that, Fones was principal deputy assistant secretary for public affairs at the Homeland Security Department and the communications director for the House Freedom Caucus. Jacqueline Thomas is Agriculture Secretary Brooke Rollins’ new press secretary. Thomas had been serving as the director of external communications for USDA’s Farm Production and Conservation mission area.
