The Environmental Protection Agency is seeking public comment on a draft fungicide strategy designed to balance environmental protection with farmer access to crop protection tools. The proposal would establish mitigation measures intended to protect more than 1,000 endangered and threatened species while maintaining fungicide availability for agriculture. EPA officials said fungicides remain a critical tool for disease management and yield protection.
