USDA will issue a second Supplemental Disaster Relief Program payment to farmers with approved program applications for losses in 2023 and 2024. Agriculture Secretary Brooke Rollins announced the additional SDRP payment while in Missouri on Friday. The Agriculture Department provided $6.6 billion in the first round of payments. The initial payments were factored at 35 percent. With this round, the payment factor moves to 70 percent. The application deadline has been extended to August 12.
