The North Dakota State University FarmHouse Fraternity crossed the state line to recruit students at the Minnesota FFA Convention. Cole Anderson is North Dakota’s state FFA president and was at the Minnesota FFA Convention as a recruiter. Anderson says FarmHouse has many of the same values as the FFA. “We have currently in the house we have two current state officers, three past state officers, and one guy that ran for national office, and a lot more guys that were really involved with FFA,” said Anderson. “We’re a little different than your traditional fraternity. We’re a dry house, so no alcohol allowed inside and we hold the academics to a really high standard.” As the North Dakota State FFA president, Anderson enjoyed the opportunity to experience the Minnesota convention. The North Dakota convention will be held in the first week of June.
