Minnesota beef producers are voting on a proposed 50-cent increase to the current state beef checkoff. These funds would be used strictly for beef promotion and research. Ballots were mailed out at the end of March and today is the final day for beef farmers to vote. To be counted, ballots must have a postmark no later than today, April 20th.
