The executive committee of the District 20 Republicans has selected Larimore farmer Dave Rustebakke to fill their vacant House seat in the North Dakota Legislature. Rustebakke served eight years as the legislative director for the North Dakota Farm Bureau and served on the state ag mediation board. He succeeds Jared Hagert, who gave up his legislative seat to take a position with the Farm Service Agency in Washington, D.C.
