A new St. Paul Campus Center is included in the University of Minnesota’s capital investment request for the State Legislature. A bill being heard in the Legislature is seeking $84 million. The project is expected to cost $126 million, with $42 million in matching funds from the university. Construction is scheduled to begin this fall. The House Capital Investment Committee did not take any action on the proposal in its hearing on Thursday.
