Agriculture was addressed in one of President Donald Trump’s numerous social media posts over the weekend. Trump said he is watching fertilizer prices closely. In his words, ‘the United States will not accept price gouging from the fertilizer monopoly.’ Agriculture Secretary Brooke Rollins followed up with a post on X, blaming the Biden Administration for the dramatic increases in fertilizer and other input costs. Rollins went on to say the Trump Administration is working on short-term and long-term solutions.
