Current enrollment at NDSU is on pace with the previous two years. NDSU Vice President of Agriculture Greg Lardy is seeing a slight uptick in numbers for the ag college. “Institution-wide, we’re at 11,952 students, which is the same number as the previous three years. In ag, our freshman enrollment’s up 4.4 percent.” Women significantly outnumber men in U.S. college enrollment. That trend is also in place at NDSU. “Part of that is that more males are heading into trades and that sort of thing. It has been a national trend for a few years now where you’ve had more females going to college than males.”
