The North Dakota Farm Bureau has wrapped up a series of food and farm policy meetings. NDFB President Val Wagner said property tax reform was a frequent topic of discussion. “With property taxes, the #1 issue that we talked about was local budgeting and how to rein in that spending piece.” These meetings were an opportunity to get input ahead of the county resolution process. “As an organization, NDFB prides itself in being grassroots-driven and we wanted to kick off that policy process in a meaningful way so that everyone has a chance to sit at that table and be heard.”
