A significant amount of fertilizer was applied this past fall. “Some locations were really heavy, and some were shorter than average, but as a business unit, we actually had a really good fall last year,” said CHS Ag Services Northern Sales Manager Kyle Pietruszewski. “That should help both with inventory and efficiencies this spring.” The booked fertilizer supplies are available. “Most everything is already in place, and if it’s not in place, it’s en route. It’s here domestically, and I’d say the sheds will be full again by the end of next week. We’re feeling pretty good where we’re sitting with late-season tons.” CHS Ag Services serves northeast North Dakota and northwest Minnesota.
