Aussie Reopens Market to U.S. Beef

After a 23-year absence, U.S. beef is now being sold to Australia. This market shut down when BSE was confirmed in the U.S. in 2003. The U.S. Meat Export Federation recognized the reopening of the Australian market with the support of the USDA, the U.S. Trade Representative’s Office and the U.S. Embassy in Australia.
