The South Dakota Board of Economic Development has approved funding for three projects expected to generate more than $136 million in capital investment. One of the projects includes a reinvestment payment program grant of up to nearly $1.5 million for Dakota Ethanol in Wentworth. The expansion will add four fermentation tanks and upgraded infrastructure, increasing the plant’s production capacity to 150 million gallons per year. The board also approved two grants for Agtegra Cooperative. One will support the construction of a new feed mill capable of producing 100,000 tons of feed annually in Faulkton. A second grant will help expand fertilizer manufacturing and storage capacity at several Agtegra locations across the state.
