The ‘for sale’ sign is up at the USDA South Building. Agriculture Secretary Brooke Rollins cited high maintenance costs and low occupancy as reasons for the closure. The building is being turned over to the Administration’s Government Services Administration.By the end of the year, many USDA employees will be relocated out of Washington, D.C. and into five regional hubs across the country.
