Rhoden Approves SDSU Swine Facility Expansion

South Dakota Governor Larry Rhoden has approved a $1.7 million expansion to the Swine Education and Research Facility at South Dakota State University. The South Dakota Corn Utilization Council, South Dakota Soybean and South Dakota Pork Producers Council provided funding for the expansion, but it needed approval from the Legislature. In addition, Rhoden signed legislation for the design and construction of the expansion of SDSU’s existing swine-to-wean facility.
