Spring Harmony Gala to Celebrate North Dakota Agriculture

The North Dakota Farm Bureau Foundation is preparing for its Spring Harmony Gala, an event designed to celebrate agriculture while raising funds for scholarships and youth programs across the state. North Dakota Farm Bureau Director of Member Relations Megan Hansen says the March 13 event at the Holiday Inn in Fargo, will wrap up NDFB Week while spotlighting the foundation’s work. “The Spring Harmony Gala is a special evening on March 13th at the Holiday Inn. We’re celebrating the end of NDFB week while also celebrating North Dakota agriculture. It’s hosted by the NDFB Foundation along with our premier sponsor, Nodak Insurance. The event features a social hour with live music, including a string quartet, which is really nice, and all of our attendees last year loved it. With some really exciting auctions and every dollar that we raise will go to support our scholarships, youth programs, agricultural education, and disaster relief among North Dakota farmers and ranchers.” Hansen says the foundation’s impact stretches far beyond one night. “So we currently we offer over 20 scholarships for both students and then also teachers who are looking to further their education and agriculture and wanting to bring that back to their schools. We also promote and provide a lot of different agricultural lesson plans.
