A Short Market Week

The futures markets are closed today due to the President’s Day holiday. The Chinese New Year will likely limit export activity this week as well. On Thursday and Friday, the USDA will host its annual Ag Outlook Forum. Preliminary forecasts for the 2026 crop will be released. Commodity-specific updates on grains, oilseeds, sugar, livestock and dairy will be provided. Red River Farm Network Farm Broadcaster Don Wick will speak at the Friday grains/oilseeds luncheon.
