An Emerado, North Dakota farmer is in line for a top job at USDA. USDA hasn’t made the official announcement yet, but Jared Hagert is expected to be the new Farm Service Agency Deputy Administrator of Farm Programs. Hagert has resigned from the state legislature. He is a past president of the United Soybean Board and served on the North Dakota State FSA Committee. In addition to owning and operating Hagert Farms, he is president of Integrated Ag Services.
