The State of Florida has released results from state tests showing glyphosate was found in six of eight bread products tested. State officials said consumers deserve to know this information so they can make informed decisions. The National Association of Wheat Growers, North American Millers Association and American Bakers Association responded with a joint statement. It said food safety is a priority. However, Florida’s announcement “needlessly scares consumers about trace levels of glyphosate that don’t present genuine risks.”
