Envu’s RangeView digital software has been expanded to provide operational insights into cattle production. According to Product Manager Craig Hossfeld, their work began with the identification of invasive species to pair with their herbicide offerings. The platform evolved into grazing and livestock management. RangeView also has the option to include the CERES TAG to better track their cattle. “You may be selecting for animals that you like their look of or animals you like to deal with because they’re friendly to deal with, but what if they’re some of your worst performers?” asked Hossfeld. “When you really can get into the data about intake and the calves that they’re producing afterwards, then you can really start to make these correct decisions.” Listen to the interview.
