The Minnesota Pollution Control Agency is revamping its feedlot rules. According to Minnesota State Cattlemen’s Association Executive Director Kaitlyn Root, this will be a multi-year process. “There’s gonna be legal review, governors’ review, more public hearings, before this is actually done,” said Root. “They have identified more of a scope of what these rules will encompass, and they’re definitely all encompassing. The MPCA is looking at possibly changing and adjusting many areas when it comes to these rules.”
