Farmers attending the Northern Corn and Soybean Expo received an early look at the upcoming growing season from North Dakota State Climatologist Daryl Ritchison. “Last year, you could almost call it 50-50, but I think this upcoming summer is going to be more than that. There’ll be more dry areas than wet areas this upcoming summer.” Ritchison added that current indicators suggest changing conditions by late spring, with the existing La Nina pattern likely fading by May.
