Early Corn Being Harvested in Brazil

The corn harvest is beginning in Brazil. “Early corn, that was planted back in September and October, is being harvested,” reports Brazilian agricultural advisor Kory Melby. “Much of their soybeans go in after the wheat harvest in December, so much of their beans are very young.” In Argentina, dry weather has been an issue. “It’s not an emergency yet, but given the forecast for the next two weeks, the market will probably be paying attention to Argentina.”
