The American Malting Barley Association has released its list of recommended varieties for 2026. The only addition to the list is ABI Montana. Three varieties were removed from the list due to declining acreage. They are all from ABInBev: spring six-row Celebration and two spring two-rows, Conrad and Merit 57.
