The Ag PhD Winter Workshops are coming up and will cover a wide range of topics—from Naturals and Soils to Soybeans and Corn. Hefty Seed Co-Owner Darren Hefty says these workshops are great ways to get the latest information when preparing for the next growing season. “We’re going to talk anything from crop protection to fertility on the crops grown in that area of North Dakota, and what’s fun about our agronomy workshops is we’ll be leading the discussion, but of course we’re taking questions all the way through.” Hefty says there’s a lot to talk about at the upcoming workshop in Hillsboro, ND on the 21st. “Wow, are there a lot of questions coming out of 2025 about how to be a little more successful on weed control, how can we tweak some of these programs that we’re already using to get more yield and not have to necessarily spend a lot more money? It’s pretty exciting and we’re really looking forward to it and looking forward to the 2026 season.”
