The latest issue of Purdue University/CME Group Ag Economy Barometer showed a slight decrease in farmer sentiment. “The driver was people becoming a little less optimistic about the future, and I think some of that was representative of some angst about what’s going on with respect to exports, specifically soybeans,” said Jim Mintert, ag economics professor, Purdue University. The results also shows that many farms fared better than expected in 2025.
