CHS reported first-quarter fiscal 2026 net income of $260.5 million on revenues of $8.9 billion, slightly higher earnings but lower revenue than a year ago. The nation’s largest farmer-owned cooperative saw strong gains in its energy business, driven by improved refining margins and record premium diesel sales during harvest. Those gains were partly offset by continued weakness in grain markets and a tighter farm economy, while agronomy results improved modestly on strong nitrogen fertilizer performance. Company leaders say a new operating model is improving visibility across the supply chain and positioning CHS for long-term growth despite ongoing agricultural market challenges.
