Four House Republicans, including Minnesota Representative Michelle Fischbach and South Dakota Representative Dusty Johnson, are asking the Treasury Department to prioritize the final rulemaking for the 45Z Clean Fuels Production Credit. The lawmakers said stakeholders are already making operational and financial decisions based on expectations of these credits being in place and any delays could damage this program for farmers and the biofuels industry.
