Specialty Crop Caucus Seeks Equity

A bipartisan group of more than 100 members of Congress responded to the specialty crop provisions in the new Farmer Bridge Assistance program. The lawmakers are seeking immediate and equitable economic relief for specialty crop producers. The new farm relief plan includes $1 billion for specialty crops, but key details on eligibility requirements, payment rates and timing are not known.
