South America’s soybean planting season is nearly complete. Ag consultant Kory Melby says the weather has helped with planting, crop progress and even some early-season harvesting. “Brazil is basically 100 percent planted at the moment. They’ve had good rains the past two or three weeks and the crops are looking good. A record crop is on deck, and harvest has started in a few isolated spots in Montenegro.”
