National Milk Producers Federation President and CEO Gregg Doud, says Congress passing the Whole Milk for Healthy Kids Act is a major win for students and dairy farmers. Doud says the legislation corrects a 2012 policy that removed whole and 2 percent milk from school meals, despite concerns raised by dairy producers about nutrition and student consumption. With congressional approval complete, the focus now turns to implementation once the bill is signed by the president.
