A new study funded by the United Soybean Board found EPA’s proposal to assign 50 percent of the Renewable Identification Number credits to imported biofuels and biofuels made from imported feedstocks would be positive. The option would allow biofuel producers to use imports, while making domestic feedstocks, such as soybean oil, more competitive.
